Burgers




Grate the cheese, cut the onion and mix these with the rest of the ingredients (see front of the package) and this herbal mix. Make a smooth mixture.

Set the mixture in the fridge for approximately 15 min.

Make 4 equal balls by hand or with a spoon. Put these balls in a pan with butter or oil. Push the balls gently in the pan and shape them like burgers. Fry them for approximately 10 minutes (total; so 5 min. each side), until they are nice and golden.


OVEN 

You can also prepare the burgers in the oven: make 4 equal balls with a spoon; as in step 3. Put these balls on a tray with baking paper. Push the balls gently until they become burgers. Bake them in 10-15 min. and put the temperature at 150 degrees. You can add a small cup of water in the oven so they remain extra soft. 

You can prepare and freeze these burgers easily Once they are defrosted, you can easily fry them in a pan or deep fry them. This is easy when you have little time, but also ideal if you want to grill them shortly on a barbecue. Put some (olive)oil on the burgers and grill them not too long and not too hot. Use some aluminum foil, possibly. 


VARIATION

You can vary with different sorts of cheese*. Try for instance Parmesan cheese, instead of young cheese. You can also add vegetables, for instance a bell pepper, or a red pepper, to add some spice. Also, fresh herbs are really good to add. 

* Be aware that if you want to prepare a vegetarian meal; you use vegetarian cheese. Not all cheeses are 100% vegetarian.
